(Note: several Moore children carried the same names among cousins. Please make sure that you don’t confuse other children from other Moore brothers with Link Moore’s children and grandchildren!)

Sheila Valerie Mumford was born in Harold Park, Essex, England on 2 September 1926 and was the daughter of Rolland Mumford and Elsie Prior. The two married between 1944 and 1946 in England. Together, they had seven children.

Andrew was born 3 Feb 1900 in Kentucky and died on 20 September 1977 in Albany, Athens, Ohio. Mary Malissa was born 27 October 1902 in Lawrence County, Kentucky and died on 21 May 1947 in Boyd County, Kentucky.

Tamsy was the daughter of James Harvey & WInnie (Moore) Muncy (Samuel & Thursa (Hardin) Moore-2, Sampson & Jane (Porter) Moore-1). Esclene married Albert Moore, Jr., the son of Henry Albert & Myrtle Mae (Smith) Moore (Samuel & Mary (Maynard) Moore-2, Sampson & Jane (Porter) Moore-1).

Derward “Derv” was born in 1905 and died in 1957 from pulmonary tuberculosis at the Paintsville Hospital. He married Cora “Mae” Moore, the daughter of Flem Jorden & Rebecca (Taylor) Moore (William J & Lucy (Maynard) Moore-3, Samuel & Thursa (Hardin) Moore-2, Sampson & Jane (Porter) Moore-1). Mae was born on 12 March 1925 in Martin County, Kentucky and died 12 June 2003 in Volga, Johnson County, Kentucky.

First wife of Henry Albert Moore (Samuel & Mary Elizabeth (Maynard) Moore-2, Sampson & Jane (Porter) Moore-1). Albert was a twin and was the youngest child of Samuel Moore & Mary Maynard. Angeline divorced him over infidelity and got the house that stood next to where the late A.Z & Ovie Muncy Moore’s house still stands. Albert then moved across Wolf Creek up White Cabin to the home he built that still stands behind the current home of Bertina & the late Cassius “Cat” Moore. He then married Myrtle Mae Smith (no known relation to Angeline). Angeline married Albert’s nephew, Abraham Lincoln Moore, son of William J & Lucy (Maynard) Moore. Albert’s mistress, Mary “Jane” Kirk, then briefly married (January 1915) Albert’s nephew, Will Moore, the son of Sampson Moore & Martha Fields. The marriage between Will Moore & Jane Kirk was brief before Will eventually married Nancy Jane “Bunch” Blackburn on 23 January 1918 in Martin County, Kentucky.
